The Samsung Galaxy Beam is now officially available in the UK allowing those that want to buy the new phone, first shown in Europe at Mobile World Congress in February, the chance to beam their content on to a surface near them at any time.
For those not aware of the Android phone, the Galaxy Beam is a projector smartphone that can instantly create a 50-inch wide screen as long as you've got a space to project on to and a room dark enough to see it.
Measuring 12.5mm thick the phone, rather disappointingly for some, runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but is powered by a 1.0GHz dual-core processor comes with 8GB internal memory, there is microSD card support as well, and a 5 megapixel camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Beam can handle all of your?MPEG4, H.264, WMV, Xvid and DivX file types and even supports HSPA+ connectivity - rather handy for YouTube.
