Assistant V, Corporate Communications & Community Affairs (R11-225) In this position, you'll play a key role as a member of PGE's community investment team by administering PGE Foundation grantmaking processes and Corporate Communications and Community Affairs programs. You'll administer PGE Foundation grantmaking application and award processes, providing technical assistance to external partners, as well as PGE Foundation president, board members and PGE officers. You'll represent Community Affairs and PGE Foundation on verbal and written communications with grantseekers, nonprofit representatives, and employees. Computer skills are critical in this position as you'll serve as primary administrator of CyberGrants web-based grant management system and be responsible for creating a variety of reports and briefing documents. This position typically requires five or more years of experience in progressive administrative positions. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to perform complex work assignments with little or no direction and be able to evaluate competing priorities and balance workload in a fast-paced work environment. Advanced knowledge and capabilities in commonly used PC-based computer applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. This position requires a high sense of organization, professionalism and attention to detail in order to provide timely support to internal and external requests for information or services. The ability to drive your own vehicle and a valid driver's license in good standing is preferable. On occasion, the flexibility to work nights and weekends is needed.
