Hate your boss? Are you hungover? Did you smoke some weed? If you keep these thoughts and actions to yourself, step away from this story now. But if you share that kind of info?on Facebook, you could be featured on a new website that?simply combs through publicly?available,?posted comments from the social network.
Among the examples shared on We Know What You're Doing:?
I'm getting so mad right now I hate my boss Jay I hope he dies better yet I feel like killin him if you in a bad mood don't take it out on everyone at the job
Never been so hungover. :(
God is peace and love# God smoke cannabis!!! :o
And it's not just what's being said, it's who's saying it. That's right: "Your name here,"?basically, especially if you haven't set stronger privacy controls on who sees your information. Your name and photo ? if you have one posted publicly ? could show up on We Know What You're Doing.
We Know What You're Doing also was sharing new phone numbers that social network users publicly posted for anyone to see. But site creator Callum Haywood, who lives in Nottingham, England, told msnbc.com in an email interview?Tuesday that "just earlier?today I started to censor people's phone numbers, so they were not directly visible."
What, you didn't think your remarks about your boss, your drinking, your drugging, were public? Then this site ? and the warning it gives ? is for you, a wakeup call that should catapult you into action, into reviewing your Facebook?settings.
And it's not the first time a site like this has popped up. Back in the Internet's ancient times of 2010, a site called Please Rob Me raised hackles ? and some consciousness???when it shared Facebook info from people publicly posting about being away from home on vacations. (I say "some consciousness,"?because there still way too many people publicly sharing that they'll be in Bermuda, or wherever, for the next 2 weeks, and away from home.)
Haywood, who says he's an 18-year-old Web developer, came up with the idea based on a video, "I Know What You Did Five Minutes Ago," from Ignite London 4's conference last year, which showed how easily personal information can be plucked and culled from Web users who aren't more careful about privacy settings.
Facebook's privacy controls, Haywood says, "are very effective when used correctly." But, as?noted recently, those privacy controls can be more confusing and?harder to understand than?the small print coming from credit card companies and even government entities, according to a recent survey.
As to We Know What You're Doing's information, "There is nothing on this website that cannot be accessed by anyone else," Haywood says on the site.
"These people probably wouldn't want this info (published), would they?" Haywood says in his own Q-and-A. His answer:
Probably not to be fair, but it was their choice, or lack of, with regards to their account privacy settings. People have lost their jobs in the past due to some of the posts they put on Facebook, so maybe this demonstrates why. Efforts have been made to remove any personal data from the results, such as the actual phone numbers, surnames, etc. The data is still easily accessible from the API, the filters have been put in place to protect the site from legal issues.
The lesson to be learned, he writes: "Just make sure your Facebook privacy settings are sufficient, for example don't publish status updates containing potentially risky material as 'Public' because then they have a good chance of showing up in the public Graph API ... The problem is not with Facebook themselves, when used correctly, their privacy controls are very good. The problem is how people simply don't understand the risks of sharing everything."
As word spreads about We Know What You're Doing, Haywood told msnbc.com he'll keep the site going "for?as long as necessary."
"I am willing to change the site in response to people's reactions," he said. "The problem still stands though:?the data is accessible from Facebook anyway, so any site can pick it up. People need to be aware of this."

LONDON?? It's one of the most famous names in the world, up there with the Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty. But now London's Big Ben clock tower is to be renamed Elizabeth Tower to mark the queen's 60th year on the British throne.
The announcement on Tuesday followed four days of celebrations earlier this month to mark 86-year-old Queen's Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee.
The landmark, part of Britain's Houses of Parliament, is officially called the Clock Tower but is commonly known as Big Ben, the name of the giant bell in the tower that chimes the famous bongs in the capital.
Prime Minister David Cameron welcomed the name change. "The renaming of the Clock Tower to the Elizabeth Tower is a fitting recognition of the Queen's 60 years of service. This is an exceptional tribute to an exceptional monarch," he said.
Reactions among the public were mixed, however. "Big Ben is so old and iconic, what is the sense in changing its name? All over the world people won't understand what the Elizabeth Tower is," said Romanian tourist Mara Ciortescu.
Banker Richard Labonte said: "It's not a bad idea, Ben is a strange name for a tower anyway and the Queen deserves it."
The ornate 315-feet-high neo-Gothic tower features four gilded clockfaces and was completed in 1859. There are 393 steps to the top of the tower, sited on the bank of the River Thames in the heart of London's Whitehall government district.
The name change was proposed by Conservative Party lawmaker Tobias Ellwood and accepted by parliamentary authorities.
"The House of Commons (parliament) Commission welcomed the proposal to rename the Clock Tower Elizabeth Tower in recognition of Her Majesty the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and will arrange for this decision to be implemented in an appropriate manner in due course," a House of Commons spokesman said.
The jubilee celebrations underscored a surge in popularity for the Queen in recent years, and included the biggest flotilla on the Thames for more than three centuries, a star-studded concert and a horse-drawn procession through the capital.
However, many Britons were opposed to the tower name change. A YouGov poll last month found almost half opposed proposals to rename the Clock Tower, and only 30 percent supported the idea.

ROCHESTER, Minn. -- Preventive mammography rates in women in their 40s have dropped nearly 6 percent nationwide since the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommended against routine mammograms for women in this age group, a Mayo Clinic analysis shows. That represents a small but significant decrease since the controversial guidelines were released, the researchers say. Their findings are being presented at the Academy Health Annual Research Meeting, June 24-26, in Orlando, Fla.
"The 2009 USPSTF guidelines resulted in significant backlash among patients, physicians and other organizations, prompting many medical societies to release opposing guidelines," says co-author Nilay Shah, Ph.D., a researcher at the Mayo Clinic Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. "We were interested in determining the impact that the recommendations and subsequent public debate had upon utilization of mammography in younger women."
Using a large, national representative database of 100 health plans, researchers identified the number of screening mammograms performed between January 2006 and December 2010, and compared rates before and after the task force report. Nearly 8 million women ages 40 to 64 were included in the analysis.
Comparing mammography rates before and after publication of the new guidelines, researchers found that the recommendations were associated with a 5.72 percent decrease in the mammography rate for women ages 40-49. Over a year, nearly 54,000 fewer mammograms were performed in this age group.
"For the first year after the guidelines changed, there was a small but significant decrease in the rate of mammography for women ages 40?," Dr. Shah says. "This is consistent with the context of the guidelines change. A modest effect is also in line with the public resistance to the guidelines change and the subsequent release of conflicting guidelines."
Mammography Screening: What Mayo Clinic Recommends
Mayo Clinic continues to recommend an annual screening mammogram beginning at age 40, in line with recommendations from the American Cancer Society. Mayo uses a three-tiered approach:
Screening mammograms can detect breast abnormalities early in women in their 40s. Findings from a large study in Sweden of more than 1 million women in their 40s who received screening mammograms showed a 29 percent decline in breast cancer deaths.
"Screening mammography is not a perfect exam, but it is the best available tool to detect cancer early," says Sandhya Pruthi, M.D., director of Mayo Clinic's Breast Clinic. "Early detection can lead to better options and possibly less-aggressive treatments."

WIMBLEDON, England (AP) ? Being a defending champion at Wimbledon has its perks ? none bigger than the honor of playing the opening match on the freshly manicured lawn of Centre Court.
Despite slipping on the slick grass and falling behind early in the first set, Novak Djokovic quickly gained his footing and played the commanding tennis that took him to his first Wimbledon title and vaulted him to the No. 1 ranking that he still holds.
Last year, after beating Rafael Nadal in the final, Djokovic grabbed some blades of grass and stuffed them into his mouth. This time, he celebrated quietly after defeating another Spaniard, dropping just seven games in a 6-3, 6-3, 6-1 win Monday over former No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero.
"It's a very unique feeling," Djokovic said of stepping onto the sport's most famous stage at 1 p.m. as reigning champ. "I think that's the first time I experienced that in my career. I think this is the only tournament that actually allows you to have information when you're playing 12 months in advance."
Following his loss to Nadal in the French Open final two weeks ago that ended the Serb's 27-match winning streak at Grand Slams, Djokovic came to Wimbledon without any grass-court preparation. He got off to a shaky start and lost serve to fall behind 2-1, but broke right back and took complete command.
"The grass was untouched," he said. "It was soft, so smooth. It was great to play in."
The atmosphere, too, was special when he came onto the court.
"It is quieter than the other center courts of the other Grand Slams," Djokovic said. "But you feel that tradition and the history of tennis, of sport, in this tournament, especially Centre Court. So many legends have won the trophies here, the trophies that made them big tennis stars."
While Djokovic paid tribute to the tradition, he also pulled off a very untraditional bit of gimmickry: taking a golf club with him onto the court.
As part of an inside joke with a sponsor, he pulled a club out of his racket bag and put it on the sideline when he arrived to face Ferrero.
"It was a little funny thing," said Djokovic, whose racket maker gave him a bag that has posts to make it stand like a golf bag. "Being creative, that's all. But fans corrected me right away. They said, 'This is not a golf course.' I said, 'OK.'"
Djokovic has won four of the past six Grand Slam tournaments, breaking up what had been the two-man dominance of Nadal and Roger Federer. The three players have combined to win 28 of the past 29 major titles.
"There is not anymore advantages in ... my favor, Rafa's, Roger's, whenever we are playing each other on any surface," Djokovic said. "We're all kind of equal, in a way. I think we have equal, 50-50, chances to win."
Day 1 passed off without a single rain delay, a relief after one of the wettest Junes on record in Britain.
Other winners included six-time champion Federer, top-seeded Maria Sharapova, four-time Grand Slam champion Kim Clijsters and No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska.
Five-time champion Venus Williams lost and won't be playing in the second round at Wimbledon for the first time since her debut at the All England Club in 1997.
The highest seeded player to fall was No. 6 Tomas Berdych, the 2010 runner-up who lost 7-6 (5) 7-6 (4) 7-6 (4) to 87th-ranked Ernests Gulbis of Latvia.
John Isner, the 11th-seeded American, squandered a match point in the fourth set and was upset in five by Alejandro Falla of Colombia, 6-4, 6-7 (7), 3-6, 7-6 (7), 7-5. The result ruled out a second-round contest between Isner and Nicolas Mahut ? who played the longest match in tennis history here two years ago, and met again in the first round last year.
While Djokovic did the Centre Court honors on Monday, it will be defending women's champ Petra Kvitova's turn on Tuesday, opening against Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan.
Second-seeded Nadal was scheduled up next against Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil, followed by No. 4 Andy Murray against former top-10 player Nikolay Davydenko. On Court 1, fifth-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was paired against 2002 champion Lleyton Hewitt, who has slipped to 202nd in the rankings and needed a wild card to enter Wimbledon this year.
A day after her sister was eliminated on Court 2, four-time champion and sixth-seeded Serena Williams was due to play on the same court against Barbora Zahlavova Strycova. Williams openly wondered last year why the sisters were put on Court 2 instead of Centre Court.
Venus Williams was eliminated 6-1, 6-3 by Elena Vesnina of Russia, the latest setback in her return to tennis after being diagnosed with Sjogren's syndrome, an autoimmune disease that can cause fatigue and joint pain.
Williams, who has fallen to 58th in the rankings, lost the first five games to the 79th-ranked Russian and, although she picked up her game and fought hard, was never able to turn the match around. Afterward, she insisted she still has the motivation to return to the top of her game.
"I feel like I'm a great player," Williams said. "I am a great player. Unfortunately I have to deal with circumstances that people don't have to deal with normally in a sport, but I can't be discouraged by that. I'm up for challenges. I have great tennis in me. I just need the opportunity."
The next chance will be the Olympic tournament, which will be played at Wimbledon three weeks after the end of the championships. Venus, who won gold in women's singles and doubles at the 2000 Olympics and bronze in doubles in Beijing four years ago, hopes to play both events again at the London Games.
"At the Olympics, you'll see me here," she said. "I'm planning on it."

With temperatures soaring into the mid-90s and powerful gusts whipping around every street corner, this week in the Windy City was one of the warmest ? and windiest ? in recent memory.
So, I figured I'd take advantage and let it blow a few summertime thoughts about Chicago's sports teams down your way.
And away we go ...
Cubs
But now, the Cubs have Arizona State University president Michael Crow rankled as well. Reportedly, the team approached ASU to partner on the construction of the Cubs' new $100 million spring training facility that's set to break ground in Mesa in July.
But in a recent email to Mesa Mayor Scott Smith, Crow wrote: "We have found ourselves dealing with a highly erratic Cubs organization and we have been all but told that they want us out of the deal." The Arizona Republic reports that the arrangement, which was to allow ASU to play games at the stadium in return for a financial commitment, was once considered done, but is now "50-50."
It appears that the field isn't the only place that the Cubs are having a difficult time "playing ball" this season.
White Sox
In 1999, the Cubs were just one game out of first place with a 32-24 record when the Sox visited Wrigley Field and promptly swept them. The Cubs never recovered, going 35-71 the rest of the way to finish a dreadful 67-95 and 30 games out of first ? despite Sammy Sosa's 63 home runs.
The slumping Sox were indeed knocked out of first by the Cubs this week, but to fall as far as their rivals did back in '99, they'd likely need to scale to the top of Willis Tower first.
Bears
Now, either my standards for "greatness" are considerably, well, greater than Polian's, or the NFC North battle will be truly epic this season. I'll settle for entertaining. And I'll project that the Bears' divisional chances are a bit greater than Detroit's, but a bit less than Green Bay's.
Bulls
Reports are that Rose's recovery is going well. And in a recent Q&A on the team's website, Bulls general manager Gar Forman wrote about his star guard, "We're optimistic that if he continues to make the kind of progress that he has that we will see Derrick back on the floor at some point next season."
My advice for the Bulls would be to not rush Rose back and remain extra cautious with him. Next season should be considered a "reloading" year for the Bulls, who ought to focus on finding Rose a championship-caliber running mate more than results on the court.
And that's not just whistling Dixie.
